I sometimes feel quite humilliated at my cause of coming to this earth as an indian brahmin. Why God did this injustice to me? I know my blog is not going to change anything, when the struggle of so many talented students on road for so many months went in vain.
I hope, if I could ever meet Arjun Singh, I will take him on a long drive to my village where he will tell my fellow villagers that I have reserved seats for you in IITs and IIMs. They will surely put a thumb impression on his face.
Then I will bring him back to city and take him to a coaching institute for students preparing for IIT or IIM and ask him to distinguish between the efforts of an OBC and non OBC. If an OBC could afford to study in such a costly institution for preparation then why he cannot afford to join the competition.
Arjun Singh, if you really want to change anyhting in Indian education go to primary level and try donot disturb the higher education standards of country.
This distinction really hurts. I am not trying to figure out any distinction on caste but these policies do hurt....
